Dark stained timber cladding replaced the 1960s brickwork

The interiors were influenced by the surrounding landscape

My work included the design for both front and rear gardens

The colours were chosen to reflect those in the landscape

The entrance corridor visually connects the front to the back of the house and is one and half storeys high with roof lights

The tall window seen from the front door gives views to the rear garden

Double height with an array of windows and glazed doors that make the garden part of the room

The room is open plan but zoned into the three functions

Standard units combined with bespoke shelves

The kitchen is tucked into a corner yet connected to views and the rest of this lofty room

I designed bespoke outdoor sunken seating

Maximising the outdoor space

The living room leads you back to the front of the house

Through the lofty hall

And to a new first floor

The shape of the new roof meant a first floor bedroom could be created

Again with built-in furniture to make the most of the space
